Food and Drinks

y German friend Lena, who went to university in Würzburg, Germany, brought me to Das Auflauf Restaurant immediately after I arrived to meet her at the Würzburg train station during a Central Europe road trip. The restaurant serves perfect college town comfort food. It’s hard to imagine a better rainy day meal than the spicy Man’s Casserole, with turkey and beef and hot chili peppers covered in melted gouda. You can also invent your own, so, you, like many local university students, can eat lunch here every day and not get bored. WB
