Wilderness of Rocks and Queen Mountain GPS Track

Joshua Tree National Park, Southern California

A backcountry backpacking trip across Joshua Tree’s Wilderness of Rocks, to Willow Hole, and up Queen Mountain.

Important Note: We descended Queen Mountain via an unnecessarily long and difficult route. While we succeeded, the route is quite difficult and we don’t recommend it. Instead, try the shown separate descent track that heads due south from the peak. Reportedly, it’s significantly easier and faster.
